15+ years of creating and being an artist isn’t always about “making it.” I’m 35 now, and art still isn’t my full income. I still work while trying to protect time and energy to create. Some seasons I’m consistent, other seasons I’m just surviving life and trying not to lose the part of me that loves making things.

Balancing a full-time job with a passion for art can feel like walking a tightrope. Many artists struggle to find enough time, energy, and focus to nurture their creativity while meeting the demands of a regular career.
