Fannar Gilberts is an Iceland-based comic book writer, artist and illustrator.

His creator-owned titles such as , Gen-01 and Landverðirnir (LandGuardians) have been met with great enthusiasm and popularity with readers, giving him a chance to do numerous signing events, podcast shows and showcased in news articles.

His work,  Landverðirnir, Co Created by Úlfar Svansson and Dagur Lárusson, was a particularly popular one as they gave the majority of their proceeds from the comics to the children's hospital in Iceland, followed by visits with gifts and costumed Icelandic superheroes to cheer the kids up.

Fannar has worked with many Indie clients including Froskur Útgáfa (Frog Publishing), Leo Publishing, Ljósmynd publishing and others.
